Leadership in Early Childhood Education
The New Zealand Teachers Council is undertaking a project to investigate and promote leadership in early chidhood education settings.
The first stage is a discussion paper investigating how leadership is conceptualised in the early childhood education sector in New Zealand. This paper begins the process by exploring the current state of leadership and leadership development in New Zealand, and the issues and dilemmas facing the sector, including the identification of possible future directions.
